ASLO_2025
ODTÜ EKOSAM & Limnology Laboratory Represented at ASLO 2025 Conference
The International ASLO 2025 Conference was held between March 26–31 in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, bringing together leading researchers in the fields of aquatic sciences and limnology. Prof. Dr. Meryem Beklioğlu attended the conference, representing METU EKOSAM and the Limnology Laboratory.
Prof. Dr. Beklioğlu presented findings from research investigating the effects of salinization on ecosystem dynamics in lakes through both oral and poster presentations. These presentations attracted significant interest from both the scientific community and applied environmental practitioners.
Presentation Titles:
1. Impact of Salinization on Ecosystem Structure, Function and Diversity in Shallow Lakes Using a Gradient Design Synchronized Mesocosm Experiment
2. The Effects of Salinity on Organic Matter Varied Among Both the Climate Regions and Inoculation Habitats
This important contribution continues to enhance the international visibility of METU's research in the fields of ecology and limnology.
