A new roadmap has been prepared to address mass fish deaths in Eymir.

METU Biological Sciences Department Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Meryem Beklioğlu stated, "We will sign a protocol with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to reduce the increasing carp population in Eymir Lake. Our goal is to improve the ecological structure of the lake."
